Garlic and Onion Paleo Bagels
Something about fresh made paleo bagels and @love.legrand herb and chive spread just makes me 🤤 I’m a sucker for anything garlic and herb, like you name it and I’m there!
I was experimenting and made a couple different kinds but my favs were definitely this Garlic/Onion Version and the Sundried Tomato ones (that I’ll be posting later on)!
For this recipe you will need:
- 1 cup of almond flour (I find the more fine ground the better)
- 1 tbsp of ground flax
- 1 tbsp of @only.oats oat flour
- 1/2 tbsp of arrowroot powder
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1/4 tsp of salt
Wet ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp of maple syrup
For Garlic/Onion Flavour I added 2 tbsp of freshly minced onion and 1 clove of minced garlic plus 2 tsp of @mrsdashrecipes herb and garlic seasoning
How to:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and mix wet and dry ingredients together in separate bowls.
2. Combine wet and dry ingredients together. Batter should be thick, this is when you mix in the other ingredients for flavour (garlic/onion/seasonings).
3. Using a greased donut pan, distribute the batter evenly. Then top with toppings of choice, I used @simplyorganicfoods everything seasoning!
4. Bake for 20-25 mins then remove and let the bagels cool for 10 and you’re set! 😋🥯
